Hello again. Here is another "INTERESTING POSTCARD". This Postcard was used as a "Birthday Card" with a short message on the picture side of the Postcard" "THE BEST WISHES ON YOUR BIRTHDAY" (very unusual).

Hello TALLTREES,

I'll try: on postcard there is not LZ 127"Graf Zeppelin", this is LZ 126 ZR-III in 1924 and later USS "Los Angeles". Please compare the forms of gondolas and windows!
And it is written the wrong quantity of crew members - 30 persons, in really more than 40. :D

Regards,
pasol.

Dear TALLTREES,

Not at all! I think this postcard was issued before 18.09.1928 and the publishing house "Bodensee-Verlag" had not a real photo of the finished LZ 127 "Graf Zeppelin". But some technical data are correct.
On real photo during the first flight of LZ 127 "Graf Zeppelin" at 18.09.1928 you can read the inscription "GRAF ZEPPELIN" on board.

Best regards,
pasol.

Next iteresting photos:
they show, how the inscription "HINDENBURG" on board of LZ 129 was made. The banner had the size 2,75 m X 15,00 m.

Best regards,
pasol.

Hello. I can show the original signature from a document that i have of the late Field Marshal "Paul von Hindenburg", President of Germany from 1925 until his death in 1934. The Airship "Hindenburg" was named after him ;)
