Hello again. Here is a Postcard that i have which is appropriate for this time of the year. Sent on the 1934 "12 SAF" (CHRISTMAS FLIGHT). On board mail (collectors) with all necessary flight cachets, onboard cancel "18.12.34" (return flight) which was either flight No 422/423 :?: , and finally no Friedrichshafen arrival stamp was applied.

Talltrees,

even though obviously philatelic this is a very nice cover with clear postmarks!

I always prefered commercial uses from philatelic ones, I have seen a number of genuine commercial uses from Great Britain, Italy, Greece, Egypt (!) and of course from Germany. Especially form Germany I have seen overweight covers up to 31g !!! :o

Hello alexiosp. Thank you for your comments on the Postcard. I have very little mail in my collection from this flight, infact the only other piece i have is a Postcard sent on the connecting flight from Berlin cancelled " BERLIN - 8.12.34 9-10 " showing a clear view of the key letter " b " on the Confirmation stamp. Sieger mail sent to an agent in Buenos Aries with a Buenos Aries arrival stamp dated " 13.DIC.34-20 1/2 " ( 13. DEC.34 - 8.30pm).
