"SAN MARINO MAIL"

Beitragvon TALLTREES » 30. Nov 2010, 20:16

Hello again. I enclose a picture of a San Marino dispatch sent on the 1933 "Rome Flight" note the more uncommon "GREEN" Italian Flight cachet. This Cover has a very early pale green SST "12. MAG.33" and a Postoffice cancelation of "13.MAG.933"
Thanks again

Here are Two Flight Italian Flight cachets, the "GREEN" San Marino dispatch and a "BLUE" Tripolitania dispatch, which shows a better colour difference.

Hello again. I am showing a picture of the Back of "ROME FLIGHT" San Marino dispatched Cover with the unusual Friedrichshafen Green Machine Back Stamp, on all my other "ROME FLIGHT" mail received the Round Green Friedrichshafen Backstamp (30.5.33.-14). The question that i would like answered is why does there seem to be more Friedrichshafen "ROUND GREEN HAND BACKSTAMP" than "GREEN MACHINE BACKSTAMPS :?: , and as we know already in the case of the "LATE ROME DISPATCH" ( 23-24 30 . V ) did Mail on that date receive a Friedrichshafen Green Machine Backstamp with the incorrect date as the Round Green Friedrichshafen Backstamp did ( 30.5.33 -14 ). On a " 17-18 29.V -33 - X " Rome dispatch the Green Friedrichshafen Machine backstamp reads the date and time " 30.5.33 - 13 - 14 ". So did a late Rome dispatch with a Green Friedrichshafen machine Backstamp show the incorrect date :?:
