Hello. I too new of this passenger list from the 1932 "ENGLAND FLIGHT" (Outward (253), and have found differences in the list of passengers from the book by "John Duggan" :o . In the book "GRAF ZEPPELIN FLIGHTS ENGLAND" by John Duggan it does include a passenger called " ECKHARD" who is "NOT" officialy listed on the flight passenger list, and also on the official passenger list it does mention a passenger called "SWAFFER" who is "NOT" mentioned in the book by John Duggan, also passenger "FYFE" is spelt "TYFE" in the book by John Duggan, and also passenger "CONNELL" is spelt "CANNELL" in the book by John Duggan. Anyway i can show from my collection a Postcard from some one who definitely was on this flight crew member Engineer "KARL BEUERLE" :P

I notice that the passenger list shows: Herr Eckard Graf v Soden which is presumably just one person, whereas John Duggan's book shows these listed as two seperate passengers, ie 1) Eckhard and 2) Graf V Soden. If they are one and the same, then adding in the missing passenger, Swaffer, would still give us a total of 12 passengers.

The list shows that Herr Eckard Graf v Soden was scheduled to make the return journey but John Duggan's book shows just Graf V Soden, and no mention of Eckard.

Is there a passenger list similar to the one shown available for the return flight? If so it would be interesting to see the Graf V Soden entry. Is it possible that the name 'Eckard Graf v Soden' got split up when typesetting the book, creating two separate passengers?
